In the April 2009 edition of the Journal – the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association’s biannual legal periodical, Ferguson, Frost & Dodson attorney, Michael H. Gregory, published an article entitled “Who Bears the Cost of Attendant Care Expenses for Individuals Injured in the Course and Scope of Their Employment?”
The article focuses on the issue of whether attendant care expenses are covered under the terms of the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Act. However, the issue is particularly relevant to third party claims as well when considering damages and collateral source issues with regard to payment of attendant care expenses.
