10/19/2009 - Larry Young joins FF&D

Ferguson, Frost & Dodson is proud to welcome Larry Young Jr. as an associate.  Mr. Young  is a recent JD/MBA graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and Brock School of Business. While attending law school, Mr. Young was selected as a 2007 Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow and served as a legal writing and research assistant to Professor Belle Stoddard. On his May 2009 graduation from Cumberland, Mr. Young received the Daniel Austin Brewer Award for Professionalism from Judge John Carroll and former Alabama governor, Albert Brewer.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Young worked as a junior consultant for Accenture, a global high-tech consulting firm, in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Young’s various roles ranged from JAVA developer to project administration assistant where he served as a key liaison between the client and Accenture employees.

In 2005, Mr. Young became his family’s first college graduate. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration magna cum laude from Morehouse College. Mr. Young is a native of Buford, Georgia and enjoys weight training, running and spending quality time with his wife, Christy Young.
