11/23/2009 – Michael H. Gregory and Patrick W. Franklin Obtain Summary Judgment
November 2009: Jefferson County Circuit Judge Tom King, Jr. granted summary judgment in favor Mr. Gregory and Mr. Franklin’s client, a security company, in a negligence and wantonness case. The plaintiff accused the security company of wrongfully maintaining an access ramp at a local community college. The plaintiff alleged the access ramp caused him to fall resulting in severe physical injury and emotional trauma. Mr. Gregory and Mr. Franklin persuaded the court the duties and obligations claimed by the plaintiff simply did not exist.
